Poetry Reading with The Underground Railroad Museum

This free poetry reading will be held at the Underground Railroad Museum September 21st, 2024 from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. This event is a collaborative effort between the Ohio Poetry Association, Poets Against Racism & Hate, and the Underground Railroad Museum as a part of the Ohio Underground Railroad Whistle-Stop Poetry Tour.

The event is free and open to the public. Tours of the museum will be self-guided, and donations to the museum are welcomed. Beverages and hors d’oeuvres will be provided. This event will be in-person only.

At 2 pm, Elijah Elliot, Lyn Ford and Diane Kendig will read their poetry selections. At 3 pm, there will be a 10 minute break, followed by a 20 minute presentation by Museum Director Kristina Estle. Museum tours are self-guided, but Kristina will be available to answer questions. The program will end at 4 pm.
