Union Cemetery Walking Tour

Join the Belmont County Spirit Seekers and the Belmont County Heritage Museum for a walk through St. Clairsville’s Union Cemetery. Cost is $15 per person. PROCEEDS BENEFIT UNION CEMETERY. Tours are limited to 15 people. Reservations are required by calling 740-298-7020. Not suitable for children under 10.
Dating to 1797, this 47-acre cemetery contains the graves of four Revolutionary War Veterans, as well as many other pioneer settlers. Belmont County Sheriff Sam Dunfee, killed in the line of duty in 1926, is buried here, as well as seven U.S. Congressmen. These are just a few of the many lives and stories we will unearth.
