Bellaire Firefighter's Festival returns with 3 days of fall family fun

The Bellaire Firefighter Festival has returned this year, with a fall event Oct. 11-13 at the Bellaire City Park. Last year's summer event replaced the long time Bellaire All-American Days. This year's event will offer a variety of activities, with proceeds benefiting the Bellaire Volunteer Fire Department. Rides for children will include a mechanical bull, rock wall, a mix of mechanical rides and inflatable rides. Wrist bands will be $10 per day. There will also be bingo and activities for kids. The event will also have live music, beer garden, 5K, Firefighter Olympics, raffles, a kid's costume parade, petting zoo, car show, talent show, and Black Diamond wrestling. October 11th

Opening Ceremony at 5:30 PM 

WTOV NEWS 9 reporter Brittany Grego will be singing the National Anthem. Also participating will be Bellaire Mayor Vincent DiFabrizio, Congressman Congressman Johnson, Bellaire High School Band, Saint Johns Academy Singing Group, Chief Deputy Spurgeon, Fire Prevention Bureau Chief Ken Klouda, and Brian Bohnert Public Information Officer from the Ohio State Fire Marshal Office.

The Ghost and Goblin 5K Run Walk will take place at 7 p.m.

The Belmont County Sheriff’s Office will be at the festival from 6 -9 PM. They will be offering to fingerprint children.This is a free service offered to everyone. They will be located near the fire department food tent.


October 12th

Firefighter Olympics at 11 a.m.

American Legion Post 52 Car show October at 11 a.m.

Black Diamond Wrestling at 4 p.m. Bellaire Police Chief Dicky Flanagan will be the guest referee for the matches. 

A petting zoo with camel, zebra, ducks and more starts at 5 p.m.


October 13th

Pet costume contest at 1 p.m.

Kids Costume Parade at 1:30 p.m.

Bellaire’s Got Talent show from 2:30-4:00 p.m. A link for an application form for the talent show can be found at https://bellaireohiovfd.org/2019-festival.

Kids Firefighter Olympics starts at 3 p.m.
