Belmont County Fair Offers Fun for the Whole Family

For 170 years, the Belmont County Fair has offered fun for the entire family. This year, marking the 10th anniversary of the fair at its new location, the fair offers games, amusement rides, food, agriculture and horticulture displays. livestock shows and auction, 4-H booths, musical entertainment, a circus, a puppet show, drag racing, truck and tractor pull, rodeo, glassblowing demonstration, 4-H Jr. Fair Royalty crowning and much more!

Located at 45420 Roscoe Road, St Clairsville, OH 43950, the Belmont County Fair takes places Sept. 3-8. Tickets are $10 for general admission daily Wednesday through Sunday and include mechanical rides. A season ticket is $25 and is good each day, but does not include rides. Camper parking for the week is also available for $150. Rides are open Wednesday and Thursday, 5-10 p.m.; Friday, 4-10 p.m.; Saturday, 12-5 p.m. and 6-11 p.m.; Sunday, 12-5 p.m. Admission for children under the age of 2 is free, however a pass must be purchased for $5 for the mechanical rides. Senior Citizen Day is Friday and everyone age 62 and older with a valid ID will be admitted free until 12 p.m.

This year’s entertainment schedule is packed with fun for the entire family and will include: Hee Haw Variety Show, a local non-profit variety show that donates proceeds to cancer patients; John Cooper, professional Abraham Lincoln; country music group Confederate Railroad; local rock group Placebo Jones; bluegrass band Carolina Blue; Granpa Cractchet puppet show; Zerbini Family Circus; The Pork Chop Revue- a national comical animal act; Mobile Glass Studios glassblowing demonstrations with glass artist Ryan Gothrup; karaoke with Ultrasound Disc Jockeys & DJ 8 Ball; square dance with Deep Down Country; car show sponsored by Belmont Classic Cars; Ohio State Tractor Pullers Association tractor and truck pull; Power Wheels and demolition derby; KOI drag racing, Rafter M Rodeo, pedal tractor pull, and Fair Field Days sponsored by the Belmont County Soil and Water Conservation District.
