The Underground Railroad Museum
Visit the Underground Railroad Museum, a stop on the Ohio Historical Underground Railroad Trail, and the National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom.
Exciting changes are coming in the Fall of 2026, as the museum moves to Morristown’s historic Black Horse Inn- one of the last remaining inns and taverns along the Historic National Road. Built in 1807 and believed to have been a stop along the Underground Railroad, this landmark will undergo renovations to house the museum’s treasured collection, made possible by a $3.9 million Appalachian Community Grant.Â
