Sedgwick House Museum
Overview
Take a step back in time and relive the rich history of Martins Ferry. Built in the 1870s, this museum was the home of the Sedgwick family through the 1960s. The Martins Ferry Area Historical Society established the Sedgwick House Museum in 1970 to display historical artifacts related to the Martins Ferry area. The collection includes antique furniture, quilts, and memorabilia from Martins Ferry schools, businesses, and industries that impacted the region including the bonnet of Revolutionary War heroine Betty Zane.
